BREAST ULTRASOUND
No physician order required.
Breast ultrasound uses sound waves to create detailed images of breast tissue without radiation or breast compression. It can evaluate cysts, solid masses, and other breast changes and is especially useful for dense breast tissue, breast pain, palpable lumps, or other breast concerns.
All breast ultrasounds are performed by Kimberly Fielding, a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer registered in Breast Ultrasound with more than 11 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
Images are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist, and you will receive an official radiology report with your results.
